The course is scheduled to deliver to the fourth year undergraduates who are pursuing Industrial Mathematics:
The course mainly focuses on computational techniques/algorithms for the following:
1. Numerical solution of initial value problem for ordinary differential equations using multi-step methods.
2.Numerical solution of boundary value problems for ordinary differential equations using Finite Difference techniques.
4. The numerical solution of large linear systems using Iterative techniques including Gauss-Seidel, Conjugate gradients, etc.
5. Numerical solution of parabolic partial differential equations using Euler's and Crank Nicholson techniques.
6. Numerical Solution of Elliptic Partial Differential Equations using Finite Difference and Finite Element techniques.
